This registration page is for students who are interested in whitewater courses. If you wish to participate in Class I River Running, Flatwater, or SUP, you must use the Non-Whitewater Student Registration page.
What: Paddle School 2026
Dates: June 5 - 7, 2026
Where: Adventures Unlimited (base camp), and Hiwassee River and Ocoee River
Registration: March 15 - May 17 (or when capacity is reached)
Registration Cost: $75
Late Registration: May 18 - June 3 (or when capacity is reached)
Late Registration Cost: $125
Any registrations after 5/17/26 will be assessed a $50 late fee, and meals/T-shirts are not guaranteed.
Maximum Occupancy: 100 students. There are currently 150 spots available for students amongst all disciplines. The whitewater classes will initially be capped at 100 students. After that cap is reached, you are welcome to sign up for the waitlist. Students will be admitted from the waitlist depending on whether or not we have enough instructors and support boaters, as well as venue capacity.
New paddler without the required gear?
If you are new to paddling and you do not have the required gear (whitewater only), please sign up for the Outdoor Chattanooga class. They will provide the gear you need free of charge. If you plan to participate in OC's class, please register early so they have the appropriate time to coordinate.

Basics: (Prices include Sales Tax when required)
- School Tuition: $75 (2 Nights primitive tent/car camping is included in tuition)
To purchase T-shirts (one per person), Paddle School or TVCC stickers, or raffle tickets, please head to the Club Express Storefront.
If you wish to bring a Non-Paddling Guest with you to Paddle School (such as your spouse, significant other, kids, friends, etc.), have them register under our Non-Paddling Guests & Extra Orders.
This event is available to all TVCC membership in good standing. Please join our club or renew your membership to participate in paddle school. Joining is quick and easy and starts at only $20 for Individual and $25 for Family memberships. You can join by click here.
Refund Policy:
Specific Paddle School refund policy is:
- Before May 17, 2026: Full Refund (less bank fees)
- Before May 24, 2026: 50% Refund
- After May 24, 2026: No Refund

Membership Renewals:
You must be a TVCC Member to attend Paddle School. Please check that you are current and will remain current through June 7, 2026. Log in to your account by clicking the "Member Login" button on the TVCC website.
