ACE Clinic: Long Boat

About this event

This event requires a $50 deposit that will be refunded to you after participation. If you register and later cannot attend, please contact the Treasurer, BG Smith, at Treasurer@tvccpaddler.org before the end of registration so your refund can be processed. If you do not cancel your registration and do not attend, you will forfeit your refund. To learn more, go here: TVCC Refund Policy. In the past, people have donated their deposit because they were very happy with the program. Donations are always appreciated and are never expected.

Other Info: ACE Kayaking, the premier kayaking school in the Southeast, is offering several group clinics exclusively for TVCC members this season. The next clinic will be an long boat on August 24. This class is for intermediate/advanced paddlers with a long boat (12 feet in length). This class will be taught by Joe Gudger either on the middle Ocoee or the Hiwasssee. Location will be determined closer to the event. REGARDLESS OF LOCATION, YOU MUST BE COMFORTABLE PADDLING ON THE OCOEE. You must be a TVCC member in order to attend. Contact the training officer, Carl Schoonover, at training@tvccpaddler.org if you have any questions. You must register online. Contacting a board member or ACE Kayaking will not count as registering for the event.

This event is free to all TVCC membership in good standing. This will NOT be open for One Time Guests. If you are new to TVCC then we would love for you to join us on this event. Please join our club or renew your membership. Joining is quick and easy and only $20 for individual and $25 for a family membership. You can join by clicking here.

Students must register online. Walk-on students will not be allowed. No exceptions.

You may not attempt to register before registration opens.

Contacting the instructor/trip leader or any TVCC board member directly does not count as registering for the event.

Registration is a first come, first serve basis. Moving registrants from the waitlist is a first come, first serve basis. You may not use your registration to hold a spot for a different individual.

Drug and alcohol use will not be permitted before or during the event.
