Paddle School 2025 Student Registration
What: Paddle School 2025
Dates: May 30-June 1, 2025
Where: Adventures Unlimited (base camp), and Hiwassee River and Ocoee River
Early Registration: March 5-May 10 (or when capacity is reached)
Early Registration Cost: $75
Late Registration: May 11-May 27 (or when capacity is reached)
Late Registration Cost: $125
Any registrations after 5/10/25 will be assessed a $50 late fee, and meals/T-shirts are not guaranteed.
Maximum Occupancy: 150 students. There are currently 150 spots available for students amongst all disciplines. The whitewater classes will initially be capped at 100 students. After that cap is reached, you are welcome to sign up for the waitlist. Students will be admitted from the waitlist depending on whether or not we have enough instructors and support boaters, as well as venue capacity.
You must select an activity: flatwater, SUP, class I river running, or whitewater. Please reference the picture below.

We are always in desparate need of support boaters and instructors. If you know anyone who can volunteer and you refer them by the early registration deadline (May 10), your name will be entered into a special raffle drawing. One entry for each person you refer to support boat or instruct. That person must list your name as a referral when they register by May 10. You must be present at Paddle School in order to be eligible for the raffle drawing.
New paddler without the required gear?
If you are new to paddling and you do not have the required gear (whitewater levels 1 & 2 only), please sign up the Outdoor Chattanooga class. They will provide the gear you need free of charge. If you plan to participate in OC's class, please register early so they have the appropriate time to coordinate.

- School Tuition: $75 (2 Nights primitive tent/car camping is included in tuition)

-- T-Shirt: Either $20 (Unisex Short Sleeve Cotton) or $28 (Unisex Long Sleeve Sport Tech), $3 upcharge for 2XL-3XL. Each style of shirt is limited to one per person. If you wish to order extras, you can do so at the Paddle School 2025 Non-Paddling Guests and Extra Orders form here.

If you wish to bring a Non-Paddling Guest with you to Paddle School (such as your spouse, significant other, kids, friends, etc.), have them register under our Paddle School 2025 Non-Paddling Guests and Extra Orders.
This event is available to all TVCC membership in good standing. Please join our club or renew your membership to participate in paddle school. Joining is quick and easy and starts at only $20 for Individual and $25 for Family memberships. You can join by click here.
Refund Policy:
Specific Paddle School refund policy is:
- Before May 10, 2025: Full Refund (less bank fees)
- Before May 18, 2025: 50% Refund
- After May 18, 2025: No Refund

Membership Renewals:
You must be a TVCC Member to attend Paddle School. Please check that you are current and will remain current through June 2, 2025. Log in to your account by clicking the "Member Login" button on the TVCC website.
